Description

Ingersoll Rand PT050-8 Push Hook-On Trolley is a 5 metric ton (11,000 lb) capacity PT Series trolley designed for use with compatible manual or powered hoists. Its 4.68 in. flange adjustment accommodates compatible overhead beams, while the 60 in. minimum curve radius allows travel through suitable curved beam sections. The push hook-on design provides manually controlled trolley movement along the beam without a separate drive mechanism. The PT050-8 uses cast iron wheels with a universal tread for flat or tapered beams and sealed, Lube-for-Life ball bearings for smoother rolling with less effort and maintenance. Cold-formed steel side plates with integrated rail sweeps and drop stops provide strength, durability, and load distribution. The trolley has an 8 in. minimum beam height, a 5:1 design factor, and a listed 110.3 lb weight. A separate wide-flange kit is available for an 813 in. flange adjustment.Type: Push Hook-On Trolley | Series: PT Series | Model: PT050-8 | Capacity: 5 Metric Tons (11,000 lb) | Wheel Type: Cast Iron | Flange Adjustment: 4.68 in. | Minimum Beam Height: 8 in. | Minimum Curve Radius: 60 in. | Design Factor: 5:1 | Weight: 110.3 lb | Wide Flange Kit: PT050-WFK | Wide Flange Adjustment: 813 in. | Wide Flange Kit Weight: 24.8 lbFeatures:The 5:1 design factor permits use with both manual and powered hoists.Cast iron wheels provide the standard wheel configuration for the PT050-8.Universal wheel tread fits either flat or tapered beams.Cold-formed steel side plates provide strength, durability, and even load distribution.Rail sweeps and drop stops are incorporated into the side-plate construction.Sealed, Lube-for-Life ball bearings provide smoother rolling with less effort and maintenance.Wider hanger shaft capabilities allow the standard trolley to fit compatible S-beams and patented track beams within the specified beam range.Extension shaft kits are available separately when a wider flange adjustment is required. The PT Series is designed for compatibility with hoists from different brands. The trolley is painted black for coordination with hoists of different colors.Made in USA: Applications:Industrial material handling moving compatible loads up to the 11,000 lb rated capacity along suitable overhead beams.Maintenance and MRO suspending and repositioning compatible manual or powered hoists during equipment service work.Fabrication and manufacturing moving suspended components, equipment, and assemblies along compatible overhead beam systems.Heavy-duty overhead lifting systems pairing the trolley with a compatible hoist where the 5 metric ton capacity and 4.68 in. flange range are appropriate.Workshop and production handling providing manually controlled trolley travel for compatible lifting equipment.FAQs:Q: What is the capacity of the PT050-8?A: The PT050-8 is rated for 5 metric tons, equivalent to 11,000 lb.Q: What beam flange width can the PT050-8 accommodate?A: The standard PT050-8 has a 4.68 in. flange adjustment range.Q: What type of wheels does the PT050-8 use?A: The standard PT050-8 uses cast iron wheels with a universal tread for flat or tapered beams.Q: Can the PT050-8 be used with a powered hoist?A: Yes.
