Description

Ingersoll Rand SMB010-30-28V Silver Series Manual Chain Hoist is configured for a 1 metric ton (2,200 lb) capacity, 30 ft standard lift, 28 ft hand chain drop, and 1 chain fall. The Silver Series uses high-strength stamped steel construction, roller bearings on the input shaft, a self-adjusting mechanical load brake, and an overload clutch that slips in the lifting direction. This configuration is suited to manual lifting and positioning applications where a longer load travel is required. The SMB010 model uses a 6 x 18 mm load chain and requires 64 lb of pull to lift the rated load. The manufacturer specifies 39 ft of hand-chain overhaul for each 1 ft of load lift on the 1 metric ton model. The V designation identifies the overload-clutch configuration, while the model format specifies the lift and hand-chain drop separately. The 30 ft / 28 ft configuration therefore should not be confused with the 20 ft / 18 ft SMB010 model.Type: Manual Chain Hoist | Series: Silver Series | Model: SMB010-30-28V | Capacity: 1 Metric Ton (2,200 lb) | Standard Lift: 30 ft | Hand Chain Drop: 28 ft | Chain Falls: 1 | Load Chain Size: 6 x 18 mm | Pull to Lift Rated Load: 64 lb | Chain Overhaul per 1 ft of Lift: 39 ft | Overload Protection: Slip ClutchFeatures:High-strength, all-stamped steel construction provides impact resistance while keeping the hoist relatively lightweight. One chain fall is used for the 1 metric ton SMB010 capacity.Encased and retained roller bearings on the input shaft support efficient lifting and ease of maintenance.Self-adjusting disc-type double-pawl mechanical load brake provides controlled load holding.Overload protection is provided by a clutch that slips in the lifting direction only.Nickel/chrome-plated exterior and zinc-plated frame components provide increased corrosion resistance.Double hand-chain guides help provide smooth operation when pulling excess hand chain.Open-frame construction allows easier cleaning and inspection.Hardened swivel-latch hooks provide the specified hook configuration for the Silver Series.CE-certified Silver Series hoists meet or exceed regional requirements including ASME B30.16 and HST-2M.Applications:Construction and jobsite lifting raising and positioning equipment or materials where a 1 metric ton manual hoist is appropriate.Industrial maintenance lifting machinery components and equipment during repair and service work.Rigging operations controlled manual lifting with a single-chain-fall configuration.Material handling positioning loads in industrial, maintenance, and workshop environments where extended lift is required.FAQs:Q: What is the capacity of the SMB010-30-28V?A: The hoist has a rated capacity of 1 metric ton, equivalent to 2,200 lb.Q: What does the 30 ft standard lift mean?A: It specifies 30 ft of vertical load travel for this configuration.Q: Why does this model have a 28 ft hand chain drop?A: The 28 ft hand-chain drop is the specific operating-chain configuration identified by the SKU. The manufacturer ordering format specifies the base model, lift, and hand-chain drop separately.Q: How many chain falls does the SMB010-30-28V use?A: It uses 1 chain fall.Q: What type of overload protection does the V model have?A: The V configuration uses an overload clutch that slips in the lifting direction only.Q: What size load chain does the SMB010 use?A: The SMB010 uses a 6 x 18 mm load chain.Q: How much pull is required to lift the rated load?A: The manufacturer’s specification is 64 lb of pull to lift the rated 1 metric ton load..spec-accordion{width:100%;max-width:1200px;margin:1em auto;font-family:”Montserrat”,Arial,sans-serif;box-sizing:border-box;}.spec-accordion *{box-sizing:border-box;}.spec-accordion-toggle{width:100%;background:#444;color:#fff;border:0;padding:12px;font-size:16px;font-weight:700;text-transform:uppercase;text-align:center;cursor:pointer;position:relative;}.spec-accordion-toggle .icon{position:absolute;right:15px;font-size:20px;}.spec-accordion-panel{width:100%;}.spec-table-wrapper{width:100%;max-width:1200px;margin:auto;overflow:hidden;}.spec-table{width:100%!important;min-width:100%;border-collapse:collapse;table-layout:fixed;font-family:”Montserrat”,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:12px;}.spec-table th{background:#444;color:#fff;text-transform:uppercase;padding:8px 4px;border:1px solid #ddd;text-align:center;white-space:normal;word-break:break-word;overflow-wrap:anywhere;}.spec-table td{padding:6px 4px;border:1px solid #eee;text-align:center;white-space:normal;word-break:break-word;overflow-wrap:anywhere;}.spec-table tbody tr:nth-child(even){background:#f7f7f7;}.spec-table tbody tr:hover{background:#e5e5e5;}.spec-table a{color:#0066cc;text-decoration:none;font-weight:600;}@media(max-width:900px){.spec-table{font-size:11px;}.spec-table th,.spec-table td{padding:4px 2px;}}@media(max-width:640px){.spec-table{font-size:10px;}.spec-table th,.spec-table td{padding:3px 1px;line-height:1.2;}} Available Variations and Specifications + SKUCAPACITY# FALLSPULL TO LIFTRATED LOADCHAIN O’HAULED TO LIFTLOAD 1 FTCHAIN SIZEMMCHAIN WEIGHTPER FOOTSHIPPING WEIGHTWITH 10′ OF LIFTLBMETRIC TONSLBKGFTMLBKGLBKGSMB0051,1000.5015525257.65 x 150.60.323.510.68SMB0102,200116429.13911.96 x 180.60.326.812.18SMB0153,3001.5016931.45817.77 x 2110.538.517.5SMB0204,4002177357522.98 x 24.61.10.542.419.27SMB0306,6003110045.511635.410 x 302.1170.432SMB05011,000528337.7187579 x 272.41.190.241document.addEventListener(“DOMContentLoaded”,function(){document.querySelectorAll(“.spec-accordion”).forEach(function(acc){if(acc.dataset.initialized)return;acc.dataset.initialized=”true”;const button=acc.querySelector(“.spec-accordion-toggle”);const panel=acc.querySelector(“.spec-accordion-panel”);const icon=acc.querySelector(“.icon”);function setState(open){button.setAttribute(“aria-expanded”,open);panel.hidden=!open;icon.textContent=open?””:”+”;}button.addEventListener(“click”,function(){setState(panel.hidden);});if(acc.clientWidth>640){setState(true);}});});Looking for more information about theIngersoll Rand Hoist?Click hereto view theCatalogFor help choosing the proper Ingersoll Rand Hoists for your assembly application, please email [email protected] or call (800) 608-5210
