Singer Motor PA2-8 for Singer 301 & 301A Sewing Machines

The Singer PA2-8 is the original OEM direct-drive motor for the Singer 301 and 301A sewing machines. Built to power the machine’s all-metal gear system with no belts to replace.

Please Note: These motors are untested. They turn freely and cases are not broken or cracked, but servicing is recommended upon installation.

• Drive System: Direct drive via worm gear engaging the internal fiber/bakelite gear on the handwheel shaft
• No belt drive completely belt-free system

Variations Please select the correct version for your machine

• Early Model (Grease Port): Features a grease port/tube with wicks that require periodic repacking with motor lubricant
• Late Model (Sealed): A sealed unit with no grease port maintenance free
